On Tuesday, 11/21, I went into a bank and asked for the usual dimes and nickels (those were a skunk) and I was able to see the teller's coin tray, and she had halves. I could tell that one was 40% silver, so I asked to buy them ($10). It turned out that there were 2 40% silvers - the one I saw was the 1967 and then to my surprise, this 1970S. First time I have gotten one of these in circulation. I got the 1970D from a teller tray on 9/3/22, and I bought a 1970S in January of 2008.

Thanks for looking

The 1970 Kennedys were only in sets from the mint. Someone cracked open those sets to get the coin. The S came from a proof set and the D came from an uncirculated set.
