To day was a nice day hit lot's of hole but came out with one token.I was looking for an old road bed and got to it. The first hole was the token then I just walked and walked and well you know how that goods. It was a good day.

It's very old. What is written on it? Nice token!

I think those Canadian tokens date to the 1830s or so

Ok got all most all the token where I can read it. On one side has Token top and Montreal on the bottom. And on the back or front AGRICULTARL of COMMERCE BAS-CANADA.
What is this doing in Tennessee

I have made a new thread for this token it is CANADA TOKEN IN TENNESSEE. HH.

I'd rather dig a token then a pull tab.

I found this token under about a foot of dirt next to a church that has a lot where the Nuns once lived before the building burned down (70+ years ago.) Other than getting informed that it is a "Token", no one has been able to say what type and why it is blank on both sides inside the design on the edges.

That was a poker chip so the nuns could place bets!
I could id it as theirs because it had "nun" marks on it. LOL:tongue3:
