Thanks KBP! I was thinking Angostura at first but it's way too thin for one. The Angosturas we find up here are usually quite thick with a noticable median ridge. I've got a site a few miles north of where I found this one where I found 3 or 4 Allen looking bases with hints of oblique flaking.Nice finds and beautiful material.
Have you considered Angostura as a possible type for your obliquely flaked paleo piece?
