It was a Long Road to Silver

Hello All. I decided not to post any finds till I found a piece of silver...well finally I found silver, nothing great just a '52 Rosie but dug many good non-silver finds along the way.

Got the normal ammo, toys, keys, Wheaties etc along with a few Whatzits like a 1-3/8 inch diameter brass ball and knob that says A to Z. Also scored a modern collectors buckle, a risque token (courtesy of Btoots, thanks Digger Mike) and a real nice good luck token.

Dug 5 or so sites for these finds, but most came from one two acre farm location which continues to produce hunt after hunt.

The relics are sure interesting! I like the buckle. I have been putting in my time also hoping for an old coin but the relics sure keep me going! There is always something around the corner, if you can find the time!

I second that tank pin being a cool one. I wonder if it's an official military pin? I'll bet it was a hot dirty job "working" (or fighting) in one of those early tanks. Gary

Ill tell ya I would rather have those relics than silver those are some sweet finds. Im the same way Ill find some really cool relics ect and I mean lots but the coins you would think would be there also but nope.... Great finds Nice silver dime

Yes that pin is was a welcome find...dug it at an old VFW hall site...turned out to be "relic of the day".
