I never prided myself on and I'm probably still not, but today I must of hit a furniture spot or something. It's was fun! IMG_0949.webp

This is my favorite one. Anything with a old eagle. Closest to a plate I'll ever get. LolIMG_0950.webpIMG_0951.webp

That's a sweet egale!
Looks like a dresser exploded there. Cool finds.

That's some sweet old brass relics there mate. I love that kind of cool ornate brass stuff. That "hook" is really the cool thing for me. Nice furniture brass recoveries!:headbang:

Very nice finds but sad because from the appearance of the pieces from the cabinet or dresser, a possibly rare piece of early furniture was likely trashed or modified for other uses! I am pretty sure that I have seen those Eagle Plates on some rare furniture in watching Antique Shows online.

Cool old stuff! What's up with the 1872 King coin/token?

Frank I found it in Mississippi where a lot of house were hit, slab and all, by hurricanes in the past Camille, Betsy etc. 35ft title waves hit the coast and I was about 300 yards off the coast.

That's a Rex Doubloon from 1970 Mardi Gras. They sound just like silver dollars. We're plagued with them down here. Heart stoppers I tell ya.

Hello Truth1253. Nice digs ya got there, always good to find cool old hardware like that...don't give up on finding a plate, there should be some near Abita Springs.

I am hunkered down near Orlando waiting for this Irma thing to go by....arrrghh...not often we cannot dig around here...just glad I'm not further south.

Thanks for the post and Good Luck out there. C9

Stay safe I know what you're going through. Katrina took 5 years of my life. God bless Florida.

Cleaned up, a lot of those furniture hardware pieces will likely sell pretty well, especially if you can identify the likely furniture piece they came from. Someone more than likely has a piece or similar piece of furniture and are in need of some hardware.

That's very cool...id be looking for a way to repurpose those!

well, you nearly have enough hardware to build something nice with, now that would be very cool
