Yesterday I was able to get to a new permission that I thought would be full of silver. WRONG. I believe it has been cleaned out of coins before, but I did manage to find some clad and some nice artifacts. I dug a really nice old bell that cleaned up extremely well and what I think is an old Model T or A hubcap. If anyone could let me know for sure it would be much appreciated. Then in the one photo an old ornate hinge, a buckle, peace symbol, harmonica reed, and a black what's it. The two rings were a surprise. One is a men's wedding band and the other when I saw it in the hole, it was almost a heart stopper . When I got it out it is just costume jewelry. I also found a Three Merry Widows tin in pretty bad shape. I decided to open it up to try to straighten it out a bit and surprise, it still had the original contents in it, but in a pretty bad deteriorated condition. I never found one that still had a condom inside. $ 4.19 in clad and four wheat's that I found mostly at my old standby park location. The wheat's were 1913,1918,1920,and 1942. All in all a good day mding. Happy hunting, good luck, and keep on swinging. IMG_0287.webpIMG_0288.webpIMG_0289.webpIMG_0290.webpIMG_0291.webpIMG_0292.webpIMG_0293.webpIMG_0294.webpIMG_0295.webp

looks like you did good at that site. Hit it in another direction after a drenching rain. Congrats on the relics I have never opened my Merry Widows container, since it is dented up. I like the Ford axle cap and the bell. Is that wedding band 10K?

Model T. I believe there were 15 Million T's built....times 4 caps per car.. A lot of those are still in the ground ... lol

T's were made from 1909 to 1927, most had wooden wheels that used that style cap. Wire wheels on the latest T's had a different style.

There were older pre-1909 Ford models like N, R, and S...and others, but I am not sure if some of those used that cap.

Congratz! That's a great bunch of cool stuff!

Very nice stuff! Spanning many years - what a serious pile of LOOT!

Some very cool finds there...nice hunt!

Good looking stuff there, and until now I had never heard of anybody else digging a Three Merry Widows tin with the device still inside. I found one with the thing inside, looks pretty much like the one you found. It's pretty nasty looking, and my wife sternly warned me that it was NOT allowed in the house.

Ive been wanting to find a condom tin since starting detecting but have had no luck yet. It makes a great conversation piece though. Nice hunt

Nice hunt and Nice finds. Congratulations and Thanks for sharing.

What amazes me is the hubcap coming out of the ground not smashed. I have two I found underwater but they are all dented up. Looks like a killer spot for sure. I am sure there is silver somewhere hiding in that spot.

Sometimes....I think that EVERY square inch of the entire Earth has seen the underside of a detector's coil. But, then, when I'm usually the most frustrated and discouraged, out pops a lovely! :)

That looks like a fine hunt!

Great finds Id be happy!!!

I wish it was. It was just plated.

I have to agree, but like you said, every once in awhile out pops something nice.
