Went back to the old smelter town today. sorry i didn't take that many pics but the wheaties just kept showing up under coil. Of course they weren't easy to dig this time. As the targets get scarce they also get deeper. I did manage to pull 7 wheaties and a 1907 V nickel. Had to cut out someone turned on the sauna and well you know how that goes. Lol. So on my way home I stop at the tear out I have been working. No surprise that it has been leveled and is almost ready for paving. It was wet down by the water trucks and of course I HAD to hit it for a few. Ten minutes was good enough for me. On the way back to the jeep my last target was , get this, another 1907 V nickel. It was one heck of day for me. Thanks for looking. HH. Enjoy

That 1907 V is sure looking good. Hope you post photos after it's been cleaned too!

The bottom piture is after cleaning. Lol I know they're toasted but didn't want to make them any worse.

Id be very happy with that hunt adds to your collection! Good Job!

Congrats on the V nickel. :occasion14: Street tear outs are great places to swing the coil. I dug my only Ben Franklin half from a street tear out.
