I pulled up a volunteer pumpkin plant to use as a shade covering for the chickens. (Yes, they already had shade.) BTW Scrambles the Wonder Chicken, aka Her Worship, growled at me the other day. I never have a camera at the right time.

Carolina Tom, I decided to take the summer off this year except for looking for Indian artifacts, near or in creeks. I don't do heat well and do not need another gallon jug of clad from the beaches.

red bugs are the worst i have a lot you don't put on bug spray for one day and you get hundreds of them
