item found old chain needs dating handmade

ok guys i need dating it is hand made found by a very old house atleast late 1800s.
first one shows where the said maker pryed the link together

Many times its hard to date a home or blacksmith forged item such as a chain because there was not a uniform pattern...

However, a metalurgist may be able to determine the approximate age by the content of the steel
