✅ SOLVED It's a bullet yes, but why does it look like a hook?...

Hello fellow treasurehunters.
I want to make an inquiry about this find of mine.
It's a french bullet, Balle M, as far as I could find out, the letters on the bullet's bottom were the clue.
Could this one have been fired? There was a french force stationed on the island for a short time in WW2 but they saw no action on that side of the sea...

Is anyone here that can explain the way it looks? Was this bullet fired? Has this bullet hit something? Or is this some kind of "trench-art"?....

This is the answer.hit a flat surface like water at a very flat angle.

That bullet is one that Angelina Jolie dropped. LOL

I think Pistol Pete is correct. I suspect that it is a Balle D or Balle D am, either of which, being made of solid bronze, sometimes bends rather than shatters as a jacketed lead bullet would when it strikes a hard object. If it is a Balle D or D am it will weigh 198 grains.

Well I will have to look up the grain/grams correlation before beign able to inform about it's weight...
