Those first 2 pics are captivating! The web hanging from the now-dried weeds is perfect! But today's winner HAS to be the duck!! Wow, such vivid and striking colors!!

No, I do not like snakes:tongue3:but I do like all the others! I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to when the algae leaves the water. For me, it just takes away from a photo and I always hesitate keeping them. Those egrets will be leaving us soon here in the northeast. I sure hope they visit us next year, don't you?

Are you referring to the duckweed?Them whiteys will be back,you can count on it.
 
Yes, thank you...duckweed! It's funny to watch muskrats eat that. They pull it in with their tiny little front paws and scoop it into their fast moving mouth. Very comical little fellows.
