IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!(In my home!)
Years ago when my wife found out we still had the Old Aluminum Christmas tree of my Grandma's stored in the old Cotton Gin in Tennessee the Yank from Ohio went ga ga about it. She wanted it and wanted to know if I could find it in the grime of the Gin next time I went home. Well I braved the pigeon poop and Coons hiding out to locate it when I went home for Christmas. I located it beneath the a ton of old cloths and grime. It was squashed in the original box but somehow the color wheel and rotating base survived. I have had to cannibalize a couple busted up trees I bought on eBay over the years to replace limbs, but since 2000 Christmas at our home has been when that old, old tree of MaMa's goes up. A touch stone with the past if you will.

Love your story, and can understand why she fell in love with it, would love to see a pic of it lit up, it must be gorgeous!!!!
