Unless Ole Man Winter is holding back a large one for the New Year's
Eve party. (his form of fireworks). It's looking like I'll be "walking" for
a while. :)

This is why I choose my clad factories from those
that are built on old ground.
The button on the left I can read "extra" but that's about all.
The lead seal has "CCC" on it.

Found one of these.

Congratulations on the nice hunt! :occasion14:

Perhaps you can bribe "Old Man Winter" for a few more hunting weeks with all those quarters. :icon_thumright:

Fishy got a new ride for Christmas!

Keep walking and digging, years not up yet. Nice finds.

Thats great Whadi. I have had to stay in for the last 2 weekends, because it went down to 0 degrees and the ground froze. Things warmed up here a little and I hope to get in one more hunt this weekend.

Concentrate on slight rises that a good sun exposure thru the day.

Thanks!

Good hunt Whadi.
It takes 3 consequetive nights of 20 degrees or less and the daytime temps have to stay below 32 in order for the ground to go rock solid.
We have been lucky around the NYC area so far. Looks like Temps in the forties and some fifties are going to visit us this coming week.

Nice. I managed to get out yesterday for a very short hunt and after the thaw the past couple days I got a 1865 British half penny and old spoon but when the coin dried out it crumbled into a blank disc so I didn't even bother posting. It was nice to get out though! [emoji106]

Nice job poking around in the dirt, WHADIFIND!! Glad you're not in the mood to give it up, yet!!
I'm right there with ya...........!!

Congrats on the successful hunt Whadi. :occasion14: Keep on keeping on. :icon_thumright:

Congrats on a productive hunt! Battery money and relics!

You know you're tired when you think you posted something, but didn't. I especially love your flat buttons. I also braved the mud and got some nice CW stuff today. Lots of targets. Fell face down in the mud, too, just for fun.
