Watching snow melt, planed on a river hunt today, but rivers are swelling, which is ok ,that means the snow is melting .I no were not out of the woods yet, but the light is at the tunnel.Should be a good year, got to new favorite spots plus found a lot of other ones.Getting a new unit to boot.I'm siked can't wait to start detecting . figured I share my excitement.

No worries I'm in tight with a ground hog, he Said springs a commen .

Another blast of cold air is expected for much of the Eastern United States next week. The frigid air will first impact the northern Plains on Monday before diving south and east throughout the week. By Wednesday, most of the Great Lakes will have single digit high temperatures and parts of the Tennessee Valley will struggle to rise above freezing. ???

I hit the beach/fishing spot while it's thawed. 47 cents, a spin leader, and #2 fishhook, and aa battery out of a few square feet and about an hour.

I went sledding with my son and at the top of the hill I noticed in the woods tucked in the crotch of a tree was an axe headi dug over the summer .i cried a little

Yes its a nice thought, well on the bright side it gives me more time to research my next detector, but I must say the past few years we seen robins in early February, not this year.On another bright side you would think it will kill more bugs like ticks.I will be hopeful to see a change second week in march.
