You know those old black cows must get hotter than hades here in Oklahoma in the Summertime .
It seems like we have switched into "hot mode" all of the sudden---I sure was enjoying those 70 degree days and 50 degree nights we were having at the first of May.
Nice pics., Fossis!
We don't see too many roadrunners up here in the northern part of the state.

You know those old black cows must get hotter than hades here in Oklahoma in the Summertime .
It seems like we have switched into "hot mode" all of the sudden---I sure was enjoying those 70 degree days and 50 degree nights we were having at the first of May.

Thanks, it did seem to 'really heat up fast', & we are having some awful humidity.
The road runners are really taking a 'toll' on some of our lizards around here, this one in the pic is almost a pet, it hangs around a friends house all the time.

Great pics I've only gotton a pic of 1 road runner before and ....... anyone for a warm glass of milk Nah its tooooo hot ! I think its cooled back to 87 now at 6 : 40 wheewooo !

Cool roadrunner pic. Dad used to tell me it was really hot when sweat would run down your a**crack. Sorry, crude old country sayin, but very descriptive when you think about it. He was right, too, particularly down in Little Dixie in south eastern Oklahoma.

Hello, Fossis, When we visited Arizona a few years ago I kept a lookout, hoping to see a roadrunner. Then two days before
leaving, I saw one in the parking lot at our condo. I recognised it from pictures I had seen but it was gone before I could
get a picture of it. He was fast. LOL. He left me wishing I could have gotten a better look at him before he took off like
a speeding bullet. LOL. I've always seen them on the ground and didn't know that they roosted in trees. Thanks for
enlightening me with the picture.

This one hangs around a friends house & is very tame, & I had a friend who fed one 'weiners' one cold snowy winter when they couldn't find much to eat. :P
