It's stopped raining.

Been detecting today on a ploughed field near to where I live. Had a few bits one of them a nice William and Mary coin weight for for a gold Guinea. Also had a George 111 penny 1797, loom weight, 17th c buckle, a worn flat small hammered and a crotal bell. Picture not to good,hoping santa brings me a better camera, I've been a very good boy this year !. Someone is selling the same type of weight on UK eBay at the moment, mine is in better condition with a really good patina.

As you may have noticed, I have no patience when it comes to waiting for the rain to stop. However I have loads of patience out in the field

Glad your doing the post everything way, its nice to know what you fellow UKers get on a day-to-day basis.

As you probably know coin weights are VERY collectable. I like them alot.

I know its hard to turn up them candles

That is a very nice weight, I find quite a few medieval but very few post med.

I'm sure you hear this a lot, but we stateside MDers envy the heck out anyone swinging a coil in the UK. I can't imagine how exciting that must be. I'd be out there in the fields rain or shine!
