The car is actually a Tootsiietoy, a Kubelwagen, 1960's
The lock, pretty cool....it's a zippogrip, made in NJ, probably from the 50's.
The silver dollar was awesome, the reeded edge a little thin though....ugh, spark plug gauge.:BangHead:
A handful of clad, nothing fancy....oh yea, the number seven?
I will sell it to anyone interested....because I can per Tnet rules.

Glad you got out Dave. Waist of time would be staying home. You will miss every silver coin and ring you are not out looking for[emoji12]

You didn't waste anyone's time. Most like seeing what others are finding even if it is just a few trinkets. Tootsitoy's are great finds. I would think the lock is older than the 50's also. Glad you had fun. That is all that matters.

It can't always be old, gold and silver, beats what 80% of the masses are doing.

If it were an 8 I would buy it.....sevens are just too common.:laughing7:

Dave, that car is the bomb! Never seen one of those. Congrats on your cool finds. -Lisa

Its never a waste of my time to read your posts Dave. Your just one of the few who are willing to show the reality of our hobby.

I was having a really bad day finding anything worth a hoot, my last stop of the day produced this.....a most appropriate way to finish up!!

Very cool,, maybe you should hang on to the "7" for a bit. If the new rendition of "The Magnificent Seven " is a success, the price on all things "7" will go up. lol
Congrats on your finds.

Not a waste of time Ive seen myself feeling discouraged cause most times I go out I don't have many Good finds but that's the reality for a lot of us I see posts of hammered coins gold coins gold ring # 234 a coin from the 16oos lincolns gold tooth the wing to Amelia Earharts plane Jimmy Hoffas Wallet Blue Beards belt buckle The breast plate of a iron age warrier The nose cone to Appolo 13 a coin hoard from 1780 sorry Little carried away but I think these finds are what most of us have most of the time Thanks for keepin it real LOL

Don't consider it a bad day, just know those are 8 items that will not beep under your coil again.

Dave I'm laid up because of tendon sprain in elbow and believe me I'd love to have those digs right now.

And don't forget the obligatory brass water nozzle! I've dug so many of them its not funny, I usually leave them on the front porch of the homeowner, they seem glad to get them back...great stuff, thx for posting, ddf

Not me....I keep them all!:laughing7:
