here are some of my recent woods finds (first time doing the winter woods hunting, but had to try) most of the finds came from a wooded area of a local city park. the coins were all 4-5 inches deep including a bit of snow but easy digging for the most part. Felt so nice to see some silver to come out of the ground. been a long winter (month and a half
) anyway, found a 53d quarter, 44d merc, 26d wheat, 46 jefferson, and I think maybe my first bird tag? anyone know about these? are they pigeons or what? also a lipstick tube, and a cool panther necklace charm.(local high school mascot) sure was good getting out. HH all. Griff
