January's CW finds
Got to hunt a couple of days in January with my son in a field around an old cemetary where we think Union Cavalry might have camped. And were we happy with the results! My son found a fired .69 calber, the first either one of us have ever found. I found a lead filled U.S. bridal rosette and U.S. cuff button. Surprised to see any brass at all, as we've found that years of planting and fertilizer don't preserve brass relics very well.
