Jesse James Cave

This cave is near Ralston OK. My Mom's aunt used to fix dinner for the James gang, when they were in the area. She also exchanged letters with Jesse. Wish I had one of those letters now! Is there treasure in this cave? I don't know...but I lost a gold chain while looking over the edge and taking pictures, so finders keepers gang

Good Story Tom, nice pic's,
I knew a local man whose mother was given a gold
ring, for watering the horses of the Younger's, when
they traveled from Dallas through this area.
I may try & get his widow to let me take pic's, & do
a story for T-Net.

Hey Wes,

No, it is not on my land. My Mom can probably get me back on there though. She was born there and knows most every body.

I would like to find my gold chain, I lost the chain and pendant. Drove all the way home, realized it was gone, went back the next day, found the pendant, but no luck on the chain. It must have gotten caught on a limb, broke and then flew off.

Mom is moving back up closer to me, so there is a very good chance her & I will make it back to the cave.
I really didn't detect much at the site when I was there (what was wrong with me?), I mostly took pictures.
Next time I will be prepared to search the area, and perhaps take a look inside the cave. Part of the cave has fallen-in. You might see this in one of the pics.
