I was rather happy with these finds,it's tough woods hunting after last Saturdays Snow,a LOT of trees and limbs in the way,guess I'll go back and start moving stuff around and find some more.A heart pendant and pin,St. Christopher plate,coins,brass ring,nice silver buckle plate,and a Lincoln Capri in ONE piece! Below is a link related to your A.O.U.W. pin find. To sum up, it was the Ancient Order of United Workmen, founded in Meadville, PA in 1868 by a Mason named John Jordon Upchurch. It may have been the first fraternal order in the USA. One purpose was to give $500 to each member's dependents upon his death; $1 was collected from each member periodically to maintain this "insurance" fund for dependents. '20s-30s, they are quite collectible judging from Ebay listings, and yours is in great shape! Congrats on a great hunt!
