I went to a yard sale that had jewelry and silver in the listing. I got there early hoping to get some good stuff. The only other one there was a guy who was buying some old vintage kitchen stuff and glass ware. Guess he wasn't interested in jewelry and silver. So I hit the jewelry table and started going through it, there was a lot. Most of it was cheap junk. I picked out some really cool vintage items and a little gold and silver. I checked the other tables and found the silver spoon and server that I listed in another thread. I spent $21 total. I'm lovin my first weekend out at yard sales.
The first photo is a ring that is marked 10 k gold with a green stone that looks old. Paid $2 for it.
Second photo: several vintage brooches. The cameo is 12k gold filled. The one with the red stones is a Coro silver but repaired. The big green one has no mark but is very beautiful. The one on the far right looks very old with very shinny stones No marks though. The black and the green ones are not too old. The green one should have stayed there because it looks cheap. It was still dark when I got there so I couldn't see that well. Next time I will bring a flash light. I paid a total of $10 for all of them.
The third photo has a set of carved deer earrings that could be jade and a pair of ivory carved mukluk earrings and a carved swan that the lady thought was ivory. Not sure though it may just be bone. I will have to look into the "ivory" ones more. Paid $1 for the bird and $1 for the mukluks and 25 cents for the deer.
The fourth photo is a sterling silver butterfly ring and some Mexico sterling silver and malachite earrings. Paid $1 for ring and 25 cent for earrings.
The fifth photo was not from yard sales but a purchase on eBay. The seller was selling them together for $30 the they are both marked 10k. They came in the mail today. I am very excited about them.
Almost forgot the sixth photo is an awesome vintage necklace with very nice colors paid 75 cents.
