I worked for him for 3 months.....he had a 125 foot delta yacht called "continental drifter 3". He was a very generous boss and I was paid very well. The permanent first mate was on leave having his first child, and I filled in for 3months. I would pick Jimmy up from the dock at his home in sag harbor and drop him off by boat to surf !! We had many great one on one conversations on these trips....we both had a love for fishing, and surfing, and he loved that I was an actual "conch". A conch is the term for local islanders that are born in the Florida keys. He was as cool to be around as anyone would imagine!! Genuinely incredible guy !! We went and saw the movie "hurt locker" together, and ill never forget Jimmy dressed in disguise so we could watch the movie without being mobbed by fans !! Ill never forget sitting top deck after work having beers, and adult cigarettes 🤣.....while he jammed on the guitar, and made up songs about all of us....his crew....who he loved as much as family !! He truly was a great man, and ill never forget having that personal time to talk with, and listen too this great man !! He was the coolest 😎 Dude !!
