As said before I find those old coin designs just gorgeous! Thanks for the new pics. Incredible

Eleventh century coin... wow. Over here in the "colonies", we think it awesome to find coins from the early 1900s. Congrats on truly spectacular find. GL&HH.

Stunning coin! If you send it to me I will photograph it for you. PM me if you need my address.

Congrat's, Rob! You don't realize how nice they can be until you see one with a full, un-clipped flan!

Nice Coin!!! Try using a large magnifying glass in front of the camera to take the photo through. It should sharpen the photos up a bit.

It cleaned up really nice Rob, a great example of a crisp unclipped hammered.

That's awesome! What is the value of such a coin? I saw lesser quality examples above 500 lb.

:hello2: Beautiful coin! :hello2: It doesn't seem to have much wear despite being hundreds of years old.:hello2: Your pics are fine also.:hello2: Andi

Northern England, Yorkshire.

I've lived in the States most of my life but I was born in Reading, England. I sure would love to take my Fisher back home and go hunting! I've never had a chance to go back though sadly. Although I have quite a bit of family still over there, and in France as well. Lovely coin indeed!

Cheers, as to value, certainly well into the hundreds.

Yes, the 2003 price is £250 in VF, & yours is a VF+

Not sure on the current market, but don't sell on ebay.

Don't sell, at least not now! What a display piece. Plus it's a nice hedge for your retirement.
Either way, terrific find!
