John Prine has passed

I know some people don't like this song but may he rest in peace. I used to play many of his songs.

We lost one of our country's best singer/songwriters, a real loss for sure. I loved his music and consider myself lucky to have been able to see him in concert several times. I had hoped to see him again but will have to just feel glad for the memories.

Angel from Montgomery is another good one.

Yep. I agree. He was a treasure. Paradise has always been one of my favorites.

He wrote many sad songs. Here's a light-hearted one he wrote with Steve Goodman.
