This book about the California Gold Rush, was compiled from a series of newspaper articles printed in 1910-12.
The story is good, mostly about the ocean voyage from NY to CA, not nearly enough about the actual gold mining.
A lot of old style English, and a few rants and raves here and there, glad I read it, but it is a little weak.
