I didn't get any silver or gold but I got a couple neat things.

It's amazing how much a short dip in some lemon juice can do for gold gilted objects, here's about 5 minutes worth.

Nice finds! A friend I grew up w/ had a copper bracelet made of copper and had the same shape although a different design, very nice indeed.

I did a search on the internet and it ends up they were used on trolley car operator uniforms. There was a trolley that ran down Oakland drive way back.
