I personaly dont find junk. Like today I was searching and found some old metal to the tune of 694 pounds worth at .11 cent a pound and 3 car batteries at .26 a pound for a total of $92.20. Last week the total was $28.00. :headbang:

It all ads up! Around here a lot of guys haul scrap metal as a job and the thing that amazes me is that the supply of scrap metal never seems to dry up!

From the land of the Bluenose.....in this world's economy every little bit helps put bread on the table, gas in the tank and batteries in the detector. Like to see a photo of your weeks haul me bouy!

I do the same, now if I just had a truck I could make some better money with all the scrap iron steel etc I come across while MDing.

I use a small utility trailer to haul what I find. and I may have found more just 50 feet away from the last score

wish I took some pics my trailer was full

Funny I come across this post. I just recently started putting all the scrap I dig into a box. I seperated the copper and brass from the other stuff and when I get enough to fill my truck bed, I'll be making a trip to the money yard. I figured if I dig it, I may as well as get something for my time even if it's scrap metal prices. Nice post.
