found this weird rock which has what looks like a outer crust and a very busy interriour. Anyone that knows what it is?

i noticed after the cleaning that the rock ecretes salts??? Why would that be? it was found in a river and not the sea.
 
well it turnes out to be a diabasic rock weathered. so solved
