Just about didn't go detecting. Sure glad I did

To many things to do and not enough days off work to get them all done . I just about had myself talked out of going out and detecting . But I ended up going out for 1 hour and had a very good day .

Worked a small cut and pulled some silver and gold . Plus another war nickel and a buffalo .

Ohio should be pretty frozen up by now I would think. Are you shoveling off the snow and chopping sod with a hatchet? That's what I have to do here in Northern, NY. The frost here is down about 12" at present. The ground is frozen enough that I have to now resort to snow plow, snow bank hunting. You can find good stuff in snow banks from plows. Nice finds.

You can't beat gold and silver. I like the design on that ring myself. Is it 14K or 18K? I hoped to go detecting today but just couldn't make it and maybe Wednesday or Thursday I will get out. Give me time to patch my chest waders.

No it's still fairly nice , actually pushing 50 today . So hopefully there's a few more weeks of good hunting left .

It's a 14 K Artcarved ring , from what I can tell probably from the 40's.
