Just another day in the big city with a big silver and some nice keepers

I went out to Phoenix on Saturday for a few hours of detecting, and had a good day. Found a 1905s Barber half, 1958 Roosevelt dime, 1935 Washington state tax token, an old gaming token, a midget lipstick tube, and four Wheat pennies. Temperature was in the mid 70's and a beautiful sunny day. Only found about 15 or so clad coins. It was a quality not quantity day. I also included a picture of a homeless encampment in downtown Phoenix. Every side street off a main street had what you see here. The sanitation was not very nice.

My 2nd Barber half. I have dumbed into 3 silver halfs since the first of the year.

Three!!?? Dang save some for the rest of us lol... I’ve only lucked into one, a Walker my second year out, spring of 2015. I’ve ran across a couple clad halves and a handful of Barber quarters but no halves. And we never “dumb” across great finds, it’s a combination of research, perseverance and perhaps, a little luck. Ddf.
