Still smells like dirt. Can anyone tell me what this is? I saw simmilar ones posted but they had more canon balls. No matter what, it is my favorite button already.

The city is expanding the parking for the boat launch and has moved tons of material. So far I got 3 barber dimes, 2 indians (my first fatty) , a V nickel, a Buffalo nickel, a bunch of wheaties and more cool relics than I can list. My friend Andy has found some good stuff here also. The funny thing is , the area is only 50'x70' , but this part of the Fox River has history going back forever. The weather is 30 degrees above normal and March has been my best month ever.

I think it's a hair earlier. 1808 and before...but it is late, so I'm not going to find my copy of Albert or Tice untill tomorrow. Great ID, CSA!
