Just getting started

Hello everybody! I wanted to introduce myself and say that I have recently started the hobby of coin roll hunting. So far, I think I have done fairly well. In the six weeks since I have started, I have collected seven war nickels, 31 silver dimes and 22 silver halves (40 percenters). I think that's pretty good. Anyway, for right now, I am limiting my searches to dimes, nickels and halves. It seems quarters are difficult to come by. My questions are: In addition to the silver, are there some other valuable coins that I may be missing? What are some other things to look for when coin roll hunting? I am primarily getting boxes of coins from my local banks. What are some other good sources that you guys have found in terms of getting rolls of coins?

You didn't mention your state - but you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting your state for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Sounds like your doing very well!!

Banks are my only source of coins. Although ive seen posts of people using quarter machines at car washes, rolls of coins from cashiers at 24 hr gas station/fast food places... I havent gotten the itch to CRH like that though, haha... I just do it through weekly orders, and running around different towns banks asking for CWR's.
