Just got my SOV GT yesterday, and was down in the test garden digging up all of my coins I burried last year. Got a solid hit behind my coins burried (never picked it up with the whites prizm 5, or the ace 250) Dug it up and out came a 1882 indian head penny... IN MY TEST GARDEN!!!! Just thought I would share...... Few things about the SOV GT

Hard to tell whats a coin, and whats junk because of having no screen.... i'll get use to it
Seems hard to pinpoint targets, as some have jumpy signals.

Other then that it seems like it goes very deep. I cant wait to take it to the beach!!

Yea, those too detectors don't catch my fancy ether.

Good shooting! We had a couple Sovereign GTs in the club I used to belong to and they are a great machine. Had a hard time deciding between the F75 I ended up with and that one.

I know my F75 can beat my Musketeer Advantage Pro in most conditions so that's enough to make me happy.

Keep the finds coming! :icon_thumleft:

Practie will help on the pinpointing, I have no problem pinpointing with mine, I have been using it a long time though. I use the DetectorPro Uniprobe for all non beach recovery, not becasue I can't pinpoint with it, but because it gives the ability to only dig a tiny 1 1/4 inch hole to recover target.
