I looked through about $80-$100 worth of change and found.
1 1940 nickel
1 1957 nickel
2 1958 nickels
9 1964 nickels
3 bicentennial quarters
3 wheat pennies

I have a few questions..
Are the 1964 nickles anything special?
and do you guys keep bicentennial quarters?

Also i found a weird penny and i wanted to know if this is a joke or what?
I tried scratching the silver off with a knife and it didn't scratch..

Current melt value for nickel is $1.00 equals $1.03. Definitely not 7 cents each.

Current melt value of a nickel is .0516755. In addition to being close to face value, they are still being minted and available. Unlike pre-82 pennies, there is no secondary market for nickels as long as they still mint them with the same composition.
