Just moved to MD from Germany, had my GTI2500 stolen, want buddy 2 hunt w/

Hey everyone,
I feel like it's been AGES since I last posted. I'm in the military and just got back from a 3 year tour in Germany. I'm stationed in eastern MD right now but during the move the movers in Germany stole my GTI2500!! Man was I upset. Long story short, I was able to get a new one and I'm ready to find some treasure! My main point in this post is to try and find a few new hunting buddies in the area. I don't mind driving out of the area at all if you're up to having a partner!

I hope everyone has been doing well and look forward to meeting some new faces!

So, a little change to my previous posting. I looked on the map of MD and I'm not exactly eastern MD. I didn't realize there was a huge landmass by the coast. I'm actually like 15 mins from Baltimore

Sorry to hear about your MD thats not a cheap unit while in Germany did you hunt any WW2 fields ? i was stationed in Mannheim on the Rhine back in the late 60,s after Nam beautiful country ,there is a forum on T-Net about member hunts i think there is one in your state soon try that and meet some people from your state Good Luck .Dd60

Hey Jake, Welcome back!! Sorry about the detector, but sounds like you were reimbursed for it. (I've been in
the military....a retired 1SG) and know the deal. Hopefully the moving outfit in Germany will pay the price for
stealing your unit. Hope you find a couple of partners. The guys on this net seem more than willing to help someone
new to an area get started. You shouldn't have any problems in finding someone to hunt with.
Now, I am living in S. Korea, next to Osan AFB. I have helped several servicemen get going here. (Check out my posts,
and Birdman......he's the newest guy here that I have taken out with me. He's stationed at Kunsan, and I drove down and
took him into the hills.) Anyway, if you are ever here, let me know, and you will have a partner here.
Good luck in your hunts. Keep us posted on your finds. And, by the way, you are in a fabulous area, full of history.

What's the closest major town to where you're at? Eastern western shore maryland, that could be anywhere from baltimore to Calvert Cliffs - a couple of hours' drive.

I live in Sparks, north of Towson, if anybody around here wants to get together.
