just nickels

[9volt]

hi guys just wanted to post some old nickels i found last week at a site that has produced several seated dimes and at least 1 seated half in the last month of pounding the place to death with the explorer....story goes like this...... no rain for a couple of months at this place so signals were few and far between...then it hit me..neither myself or the guys i hunt with ever dig nickel signals as a rule so i thought what the heck and set up for just nickels for a lack of silver signals to dig...and as it was almost time to go home these were dug in about an hour in just a 30 foot strip of ground

The moral of the story is...dig the nickels! Great finds. Too bad what the soil does to them.

It sure is a treat to find one of those old nickels. They are hard to pick out when they are 5 or 6 inches deep. Congrats

Nice thinking, can't get the silver go for the nickels. That's what I like about my Minelab XP, too. HH and keep a swinging.
