I've been watching the videos at Garrett.com like MD p*rn! That's what it feels like! Watching all these guys teach tone & technology on this thing then seeing some field test vids etc...

Clearly, I need to get out more. Or stay in more, as it were

Now that you have had the AT Pro for a few months, how do you like it? I got mine about a month ago, and I'm still trying to get a feel for it. So far, so good. The more I use it, the more I appreciate all that this machine can do. I'm still waiting for my first old silver ( pre- Roosevelt)...maybe this weekend.

Congrats to all getting ur at pros I've had mine for awhile I myself can't say anything bad at all about the detector never fails to pull something out of the ground no matter where or what I hunt happy hunting

I found a lot with my DFX great detector, I can tell a clad quarter from a silver quarter

Hello dgareau,

I agree the DFX is a good detector. I really enjoy using the V3i; a fantastic selection of user options. The AT pro and Gold are killer for relic hunting. The Minelab Explorer SE is a great coin magnet inland and loves gold on the beach. All the machines serve me a different purpose and all work well. By your profile it appears you have to choose a machine before hunting!

I enjoy learning new machines.
