I ordered an Equinox 800. This hobby is going to bankrupt me.
But I'll go down swingin'.:laughing7:
You may die broke but at least you'll be happy. Lol

We are all going to go broke doing what we do.

Nah your gonna be rich with all the gold coins you find now you have the NOX!!

Nice. I hope you report back with your thoughts on the machine.

I'll do that. Everything I've read so far has been pretty positive. Now I'll sit on the front step and wait for Fedex to arrive.:laughing7:

all it takes is...one good find.....KEEP LOOKING.....never give up....

I’m sure you will really enjoy the equinox. Good luck.

Pick_axe -- you picked a good one. Very nice machines. Have fun, take your time learning it, and it will reward you.

Just a quick point, your screen protector only has one English copy. Put this one in your printer/copier, and make a couple copies. If your protector comes off, you can cut the bottom off one of the copies and glue it to your head, and you'll have all the other non-English upper halves to put back on.

Excellent tip! This is why I come here!

Wont catch me gluing anything to my NOX especially paper:icon_scratch:

Not all ideas are good ones...

The great thing is that you have waited long enough that the initial problems have been mostly addressed. For the money spent, it is a Minelab and an awesome machine that will serve you very well. Water test it early to ensure that it doesn't leak, while it is under warranty. Congrats and GH

Thanks, Dirtlooter. I live in the open desert so not many chances to field test it underwater. Nearest body of water is my bathtub. :laughing7:

Better than nothing. Give it a bath after it gets dirty.

It's HERE! And it has that new car smell! I put it on the charger along with the headset. If I squeeze the charger will it charge faster?

Just received my new 800 last weekend, now the tough part... time management and getting out there once again. First test run in the front yard I dug up a penny within seconds. Couple of dimes and another penny at a nearby park in 30 minutes. I'm liking this machine already and I barely know how to turn it on. :-)

Excellent Elk. I ran mine through my test garden. I've watched a lot of tutorial videos, downloaded the manual into my tablet and bought Andy Sabich's book. Between all the reading and vids, I'm on overload. I'm going to hunt my 800 Saturday come Hell or high water.

Congratulations! I'm sure you will like your Nox. I know I like mine.

I just got my 600 this week. Taking it to the NJ shore as we speak. Going to give it it's run come sun up.
