Just starting this "Sport" and loving it alot
So I just turned 21 yesterday and am taking night classes to get my EMT certification. During the day I tend to like going through currency and baseball cards as I have for the past 15 years. My girlfriend and i both like doing the small tedious work of sorting dates and "re-rolling boxes upon boxes of pennies, nickels, dimes and the occasional half dollars.(when the wallet allows it)
I've been looking for a while for somewhere to post my finds and see what tips and tricks i can learn along the way.
So I thought I'd post todays finds because i can't completely tell you which coins came from which boxes over the past few weeks but I'm thinking you'd get the picture.
So today before class my girlfriend used her charm and went to one of the 7 local banks and got a box of dimes, we looked through them all and ended up having time for another before studying.
So 2 boxes of dimes had pretty good luck for us.
Box 1: 1964 Roosevelt and a 1951 d Roosevelt... first 2 silver dimes we've ever found.
Box 2: 1964 Roosevelt x 2... not to shabby for a start to the hobby.
