Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Just put fresh battery's in my AT'PRO and Garmin 64 GPS, hooked up my new NEL Storm coil, installed Garmin Base Camp on my pc, and am waiting for my new Garrett Z-Link headphones from Bart at Big Boy"s to hook up with my current Z-Link. Now, with all that being said I am just sitting here in Western Pa looking out the window waiting for mother nature to give us a break in the weather! How does everyone else get ready for a new season?

I hear ya Im in Michigan and the weather is too crappy to get out. I do research on my next places to hunt. I actually found the owner of an old abandoned house I wanted to detect the yard area got a no. I dont like the permission thing but it pays off for many. I watch movies the treasure of the sierra madre love that one and watch the posts on this site and keeps me hanging on. Thats a good set up I liked the Nel coils I had the attack it will lose depth on smaller targets like dimes but hit deeper on bigger targets ie quarters halves dollars. Always Balance that coil at half sensitivity then you can turn it up if you want.. Weathers gotta break soon Tommy

I flew south to dig twice in the last month. What winter? Retirement is a dangerous thing!

I have tweo Daughters one is in college Loyola Chicago another is going next year. No money to travel lol

I know the feeling, just snowed here today! :BangHead:

Mostly by a growing jealousy of Smokey and all who live near beaches

Hope both are getting degrees by which they can support you later

Jeff, I'm slowing down. In the old days I'd just bike the 600 miles, er, I mean drive, er I mean, jog, er I mean...ox cart? (Is my nose getting longer.) But I am slowing down a lot. I only went to the beach like twice in 2019. Now I really really really needed a wheeled device to leave the airport yesterday. Could hardly walk.
