Had to take advantage of the warmer weather yesterday. On the way out to MD, I gathered up my remaining clad dimes for the year and stopped at a Salvation Army bell ringer's site and put $6.90 in her bucket. (I've reported the donation to boobydoo.)

I was rewarded!

Got to the site where a house once stood. The house probably was from the early 1900's. The lot sits near a large brick building that was the Annual Meeting House of the Quakers during the 1800's.

In two hours, my XLT found the following coins along with the usual scrap. They were all 2 1/2 to 4 inches deep. EXCEPT The 1964 quarter was found in our change jar as I was gathering some coins to go out to Subway for supper yesterday evening. My wife dumps her change there and I gather it up to have exact change for purchases. So, she got the quarter somewhere in her change.

The merc is almost without any scratches - pretty! The cents are a 1897 indian and a 1918 wheat.
