[18] Wheats (Found the same amount of wheats this week in one box than 3+ boxes last week!)
[5.5] Pounds of Copper Cents (I hand sort for keepers first then use my Ryedale to sort the copper from the st-zincs!)

Didn't have a lot of free time this week so the penny searching suffered! :'(

Got a $100 box MWR box of nickels of this week and found some nice keepers! :icon_sunny:

Short on time this week so I skipped searching quarters this week! :icon_thumright:

Picked up a new order bank and the four boxes produced very well! I posted a note on my box finds this week in the 'Infrastructure of Coin Distribution Thread'! I will be dropping down to 7 boxes a week in the near future but most of the boxes will be coming from my consistently silver-yielding banks! :icon_sunny:

Instead of selling my Ikes this year, I am going to save them all up and they will function as a savings account. If I ever run low on cash, I can sell lots of them on CL or Feebay! :sign13:

Another really good week $$ - and you're still killing it with the dimes! :icon_thumright:

Dimes were lousy for me this week - I searched 4 boxes and only found a single '56D Rosie. Oh well, better luck next week I hope.

Just two more hunting days left for this month. I got 2 half boxes to p/u Mon & probably 2 dime boxes for Tues so hopefully I can add a little more silver to my list before the end of the month.

Stop with the MWR boxes of dimes and get CWRs!!! They almost always produce and allow you to find solid rolls!

Those brinks/guarda/loomis boxes are so hit and miss it is frustrating to search them so I quit and now just do CWRs! Last year I averaged about 1 silver per $105 -110 searched! This year it has dropped a little (1 per $120-$125) but I am sure it will pick up! :thumbsup:

You are still getting averages on the halves like I did in the "good old days". I had my worst month ever in the four years I've been hunting halves...less than 1 per box in January here in the good old South East USA, Glad to see there's still some paydirt out there. :icon_thumright:

i've decided to take it out of the safe in feb. and have it looked at

No 1936 dot nickels, 50 cent pieces or dollars were ever made. The only denominations with the 1936 dot variety are the one cent, ten cent and twenty five cent coins.

1936 nickel is still a valuable coin (no dot though $:-\$ ). It worth about 7$ in VF condition. Can you check yours for near and far rim variety?

They are as common as war nickels in US. Due to age and mint's alloy recovery program they are pretty scarce now.

Hang in there CD, a veteran like you knows the silver will turn up again one of these days! Maybe from a silver vein, or from some big CWR scores, but it will turn up for you again! :icon_sunny:

The coins I search are essentially all customer rolls that either have been turned into the bank I buy them from or they are shipped from brinks as they came from another bank. No culling is done by anyone but me. Yes they are still scarce but they are still found.

I was only aware of Brinks. I have yet to get MWR nickels but the MWR pennies, dimes and quarters have all been the same colour as the customer rolls so I assume the nickel rolls would be blue.
