Kellyco's Predator III MD

I have been looking at the Predator III metal detector made for Kellyco by Garrett as an entry level machine.
Has anyone used or purchased one? Any good?

I caught a couple of reviews on the Predator II and to say that they were less then flattering is an understatement.
Before I lay out $300 or so, I would like to get a few opinions. I have emailed Kellyco for more information but they have not
returned my emails.

It's essentially the same unit as the old Garrett Treasure Ace 300. Reviews for it are dismal too. Check the reviews for the TA 300 at www.tomstreasures.com or check Lost Treasure Onlines field tests. Hope this helps. BBJ

Thanks for the reply and the website Addy. I sorta came to the same conclusion by doing some searches on the Internet. Plus the fact that Kellyco has never gotten back to me.

I just ordered a Garrett GTP 1350. From what I can figure out its a little bit better than the GTAx 1250
