I only had a passing interest in arrowheads...until me and my neighbor were talking last year. His dad had worked the surrounding farms all his life and he casually said "man we've picked up a little arrowheads in these fields over the years". Anyway, that got me thinking and late last winter started taking some trips down to the creek. I started finding flint flakes..a few pieces that had some work done on them..a scraper or 2. A few days ago I scored my first on purpose point. I was pretty happy with it.

Thanks for the comments gentlemen. I gotta buddy or 2 helping me out a little with info etc....one of them is taking me to one of his sites next week. This stuff is a great time..I mean who doesn't wanna hang out in a dang creek 😄

Also I don't know if I ever posted here it but I found a real nice celt about 20 years ago helping a friend haul in tobacco. At work at the moment ...I'll get it posted up in a day or so. It was totally an accidentall find though.

That's a excellent 1st find; enough to get you hooked.
