I got this email from The Task Force for Metal Detecting Rights a little while ago. detectingrights.com They are helping push a bill in Kentucky that will make it legal to metal detect in state parks and monuments.
Congratulations! It really makes a difference when we all stand together. In Kentucky, SB 105 passed in the Senate http://www.lrc.ky.gov/record/12rs/SB105.htm and soon this legislation will be brought up for a vote in the House.
Once we have the HB number, we will update the Task Force web site and provide an email link so you can email all of the House Representatives asking them to pass the bill.
Together, our voice is being heard!
