Key Dates?

Are there any modern, I guess post-1964 coins, and older coins, that I should keep my eye out for? Key dates or errors or anything. I tried to google and got all kinds of answers. Was wondering if anyone had some ideas or knows what to look for. Thanks and HH!

I’d say current things are going to include silver proof coins and West Point quarters.

Red Book is the bible for U.S. coin info.
Another way to determine what coins are 'rare' (or just harder to find) is to get a box of a type of coins from the bank and sort them by date and MM (Mint Mark).
Go by rows of ten and keep the best three.
After the first box is empty, repeat.
You can see what dates are missing or hard to find.
After going through all of the Cents that you wish, do nickels. And so on.
But use Red Book (or a book like it) as your main source of info.
