All Treasure Hunting
So I had a few hours between my criminal investigation class and my overnight shift at the mental hospital. Yes, that is how I started this thread. LOL

Was hunting the courtyard of a mobile home park in Bixby, Established 1968. Used to have an inground pool

There was surprisingly little trash.

Neighborhood children always ready to help me play in the dirt. Lost all my (2) hot wheels to them

Found 5 keys

1.61 in clad...kinda, see pics

Assorted trash

mystery metal blob. If you all were my friends, one of you would remind me to pick up a kit.

AND 10 female mosquitoes

The payoff was (as most of you know) getting outside in the dirt.

For those of you that are rebels, thanks for taking the time to read and HH

Would you take a rotted penny, 2 keys, and a half dozen mosquitoes (>>>Females ones) for your trouble?

Probably, but I'm crazy, so makes perfect sense.

Odd, I don't think some of my posts are showing up. I had wrote something priceless and eloquent, but it is gone forever. I did want to ask Bum Luck, what do you mean why do I hunt? I hunt for the thrill of finding something awesome, the peace of being outside and away from the craziness that life brings, and because it gets me away from this damn computer. Why do you hunt?

Well, I gotta confess that tickled my fancy, so I had my tongue in my cheek when I asked you that. I work with politicians, so I understand. :laughing9:

So - getting serious, I hunt because it gets me away from my cell phone. It's just me and whatever comes out of the ground next.

I tend to waaaay over analyze things (even driving), and it's hard to do that detecting. So it's therapy.

hmmmm, maybe I should be one of your patients.............

Do you have standards, or would you take me?
