My granddaughter and her family live in the panhandle just north of Eglin Air Base. Hert husband is in the U.S. Air force and stationed there. It appears Helene is shifting easterly so the worst may miss them (we hope).

The storm moved east of us by about 60 miles. We lost power briefly but didn't get any other damage. Praying for all those it did hit.
