Looks like an old door key, could be anywhere from the 20's to 60's I would guess.
My grandmother's house used one like that into the 60's.

Appears that it could be an old skeleton key, which was a key that would open several different doors on the house. I guess you could also call it a master key. Anyway, our 1890 farmhouse had locking doors to every room which used keys which resembled that one.
 

I used a key like that in an early apartment building. Building was built in the 1920's.
 

Nice old relic those are pretty cool
